About
I'm David Do — Engineer & Founder specializing in Trading Platforms, Oil & Gas, and AI Infrastructure — based in Lakeland, Florida.
My career spans 15 years across two distinct but complementary domains: oil & gas pipeline monitoring systems and financial technology. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines, which gave me the analytical foundation to work on mission-critical industrial systems before transitioning into software engineering and trading platform development.
I'm the founder of Arden Charts — a fintech data company shipping a live production suite of market data infrastructure, AI-powered trading research agents (built on the Anthropic Claude API), and automated multi-channel alerting, alongside a second SaaS product for social-media-driven customer acquisition. I fund its early-stage development with a concurrent role as an Automation Technology Professional at Wood PLC, deploying Virtuoso pipeline monitoring and leak detection systems for offshore oil and gas clients.
Over my career I've led teams, shipped production trading platforms, integrated exchange connectivity via REST, WebSocket, and FIX protocol, and built the infrastructure that keeps it all running — Kubernetes, Proxmox, NATS, Kafka, QuestDB, Cloudflare, and Tailscale.
Throughout my life, I've been driven by curiosity — exploring how things work and pushing to understand systems at a deeper level. In this section, I document my projects, experiences, and the things that matter to me. If you find anything useful, I hope it inspires something in your own journey.
